There is a growing number of health-related programs at the University of the Pacific on the three campuses - in Stockton, San Francisco and Sacramento. With the goal of promoting research in the health disciplines at the university, we are launching a new journal.

Highlights • A novel mRNA vaccine was developed to achieve broad-spectrum protection against Influenza virus. • The Ub-Re-N mRNA vaccine boosts CD8 +  T cell immunity through ubiquitination modification. • Vaccinated mice had significant reduced lung damage, viral load, and cytokine levels after influenza virus challenge. • The vaccine demonstrates potential for broad-spectrum protection against H1N1 and B influenza viruses.
